Senior I-Care Ministry

 

This ministry is designed to keep senior members engaged and involved in the church setting. There are so many good things about the Golden years, and you may define Golden for yourself. The Senior Ministry at First Baptist Church Bracktown recognizes the many contributions our senior adults have made over the years and we recognize the unique needs of our senior members to stay actively connected in a church that continues to grow and change at an amazing pace. This ministry offers regular opportunities for fellowship throughout the year. We provide medical and home-living assistance.  Volunteers in this ministry assist our seasoned members with medical and personal needs and organize special outings to religious, recreational and historical site and attractions.

 

Our Mission

To encourage active participation of our senior members by providing a variety of wholesome events and activities to enhance and broaden the lives of those who are over age 60.

 

Key Scripture:"Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the Lord." Leviticus 19:32

 

Meeting Times

The Senior I-Care Team meets the first Sunday in each month immediately following the 8:00 & 11:00 am services.
